Our Mission
Our mission is to provide trained, screened, and supervised advocates appointed by juvenile court judges to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children

We gather essential information about each child’s circumstances, participate in court proceedings, and offer recommendations to aid judges in making informed decisions about the child’s future. As a nonprofit organization and an integral part of our community, CASA is committed to changing the trajectory of each child’s life, one at a time. Through recruitment, screening, and comprehensive training, we support and cultivate local volunteer advocates, with a focus on promoting family reunification wherever possible.

Our Vision
What would we look like if we achieved our mission?

CASA of Southwest Georgia is dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse and neglect, one child at a time.

We aim to ensure that every child in foster care in the Baker, Calhoun, Decatur, Grady, and Mitchell counties we serve has a CASA.
